Flash Frontier: An Adventure in Short Fiction

Flash Frontier: An Adventure in ShortFiction is a new online journal andcompetition website for writers from all over Aotearoa. Flash Frontier hosts amonthly collection of stories around a single theme (January: frontiers /February: heat / March: shades of grey) and quarterlycompetitions. The themes and competition details are announced regularly on thewebsite and on Facebook and Twitter. Writers and artists interestedin the project can find out more details at the website or email inquiries to flashfrontier@gmail.com.  
Flash Frontier's inaugural January 2012 issueincludes fifteen original short stories and an interview with Graeme Lay.February's upcoming issue features new stories and an interview with Aucklandpoet Gus Simonovic. The editorial team includes NZSA Northland’s MichelleElvy, whose 2010-2011 project 52|250 A Year of Flash became an online success withover 180 international writers and artists, and Kerikeri writer and NZSANorthland member Sian Williams, whose short fiction has gained recentrecognition and was shortlisted in the Flash 500's Winter 2011 competition.
